01About this policy

This policy covers the wccurrencyswitch.com website, your account and the customer dashboard, license keys, our update and licensing servers, checkout, the live demo and support. It is part of our Terms of Use.

If you use a plan for clients or a team, you are responsible for making sure they follow it too.

02The GPL and your sites

The WC Currency Switch plugin code is licensed under the GPL, and nothing in this policy limits your rights under it.

This policy is about our services. Your own store, its content, its prices and its shoppers are your responsibility.

03Using the plugin on your store

• Allowed: showing prices in your shoppers' currencies, setting your own fees, rounding and fixed prices, and detecting location with the sources the plugin supports.
• Not allowed: using the plugin to show misleading prices, hide fees, or charge shoppers something different from what they were shown, or to break price display, tax or consumer laws where you sell.
• Outside services: exchange rate providers, IP lookup services and CDNs have their own terms and usage limits. Use your own API keys, stay within your plan with them, and don't share their keys.
• Shopper privacy: tell your shoppers about the currency cookie and any IP lookup service you use, and ask for consent where your laws require it.

04License keys

Your plan lets you activate your license on a set number of sites you own or manage for clients: 5, 25 or unlimited on yearly plans, and up to 1,000 on Lifetime. Your key connects those sites to updates and support.

• Don't publish, sell, give away or share your key outside your own sites and clients.
• Don't bundle your key in a theme, plugin, hosting package or other product you distribute.
• Don't tamper with, fake or get around license checks or site limits.

Copies of the plugin from anywhere else don't get updates or support, and they may have been changed in ways that aren't safe.

05Our website and servers

Please don't:

• try to access other people's accounts, licenses or data
• probe, scan or test our systems for weaknesses without our permission
• upload or spread malware, or send spam through our forms
• overload our servers, including the update and licensing service and the live demo
• scrape our website with bots or copy it in bulk
• get around security measures or rate limits, or create accounts to get around a suspension

06Payments and fraud

Don't use stolen payment details, test cards, refund abuse or chargebacks without a real reason. If something is wrong with a payment, please contact us first and we will sort it out.

If we see fraud, we may cancel orders, block payment methods, deactivate license keys and report it to payment providers or the authorities.

07Our name and brand

• Fine: saying your theme, plugin or service works with WC Currency Switch.
• Not fine: pretending to be us, sharing changed copies under our name or logo, using "WC Currency Switch" or "Nahnu Plugins" in your own business or product name, or posting fake reviews.

08Support

Please treat the people who help you with respect. We may end a conversation or stop support for abuse, threats, harassment or spam.

We never ask for your password by email. If we need access to your site, we will ask through an agreed, secure method. Please remove that access once we're done.

09Illegal and harmful use

Don't use our services to break the law or infringe anyone's rights. We may stop providing our services, and report serious illegal activity to the authorities.

People and businesses barred under US sanctions or export laws can't use our services.

10Reporting security issues

If you find a security issue in WC Currency Switch or our website, please tell us privately through our support form before sharing it publicly, and give us about 90 days to fix it.

Only test on your own sites and accounts. We won't take legal action against good-faith research that follows these rules.

11Reporting misuse

If you see a shared license key, someone misusing our name, or anything else that breaks this policy, tell us through our support form with links and details.

We review every report, but we may not always be able to tell you the outcome.

12What we may do

What we do depends on how serious the problem is. We may contact you, deactivate a license key, pause updates or support, close an account, or report it to the authorities.

We usually warn you first. For serious breaches we may act straight away, and we may not give a refund. Copies of the plugin already installed keep working under the GPL. If you think we got it wrong, ask us to take another look.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as WC Currency Switch grows or new risks come up. We post the new version here with a new date.
