01Who we are

WC Currency Switch is made by Nahnu Plugins, a brand of Nahnu Fitness LLC, a limited liability company in Washington State, United States ("we", "us"). Nahnu Fitness LLC is the controller of the personal information described here.

This policy covers the website at wccurrencyswitch.com, buying a plan, the customer dashboard, license activation and our support. It sits alongside our Terms of Use and Cookie Policy.

02What we collect

• When you buy a plan: your name, email address, billing address, country, VAT or tax number if you give one, and your order history. Stripe tells us your card type and the last four digits, never the full number.
• Your account: your email address, a hashed password, your plans, license keys and the sites they are active on.
• License activation and updates: when the plugin checks your license or looks for updates, it sends your license key and site address.
• Support: what you send through our support form, such as your name, email address, topic and message, and anything you choose to include, like a site address or screenshot.
• Website visits: privacy-friendly analytics (see below), the short-lived server logs every web host keeps, and a record of your cookie choices.

We don't run a newsletter, ad tracking, session recording or live chat. Our fonts are hosted on our own site, so visiting doesn't contact Google Fonts.

03Analytics without cookies

We use Nahnu Analytics, our own analytics tool, to see which pages are read and where visitors come from. It doesn't use cookies.

• No stored IP addresses. Your IP address is combined with a secret that changes every day and turned into a one-way code, so a visit can't be traced back to you or linked across days. Your IP address is used once to estimate your country, region and city, then thrown away.
• What we see: pages viewed, the site that sent you, approximate location, browser, device type and screen size, as totals and trends.
• Local storage: to keep a feature test the same on each visit, we may save a random number in your browser's local storage. If you opt out of analytics, we save a small opt-out flag there instead. Neither is shared with anyone.
• Where it lives: analytics data is stored in our own Cloudflare account in the European Union, and only we can view it, from our WordPress admin.

Analytics are never linked to your account or used to profile you.

04The live demo

The currency switcher demo on our homepage remembers the currency you pick and your detected country in your browser's local storage, so the demo looks the same when you come back. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

To guess your country, the demo reads the country header our CDN already sends. If that isn't available, your IP address is sent to FreeIPAPI to look up your country. We don't store the result on our servers.

05Cookies

We only use cookies the site needs to work:

• A consent cookie that remembers your cookie choices.
• Login and checkout cookies for your account, cart and the customer dashboard.
• Stripe may set its own cookies during checkout to help prevent fraud.

When you make a cookie choice, we keep a record of it (the date, your choices, a random device id, your IP address and basic device details) so we can show we asked. Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie and lets you change your choices.

06How we use it

We don't sell personal information, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you that have legal or similar effects.

07Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers who handle information for us, under their own privacy and security terms:

• SureCart runs our checkout, customer accounts and licensing.
• Stripe processes payments.
• Cloudflare stores our analytics data in the EU.
• Our web host runs the website and keeps server logs.
• Our email provider delivers order, license and support emails.
• FreeIPAPI looks up your country for the live demo when our CDN can't.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or with a new owner if Nahnu Plugins or WC Currency Switch changes hands. A new owner would have to respect this policy.

08International transfers

We are based in the United States, and some of our providers process information in other countries. Our analytics data is stored in the European Union.

When personal information from the EU, the UK or Switzerland is transferred to the United States or elsewhere, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where our providers take part in it.

09How long we keep it

• Account and license information: while your account is open, and for a reasonable time after, so we can help if you come back or have a question.
• Invoices and tax records: as long as tax laws require.
• Support messages: until they are no longer needed to help you or keep a record of what we agreed.
• Server logs: a short time, set by our host.
• Analytics: analytics data doesn't identify you, and we keep it for as long as it helps us understand how the site is used.
• Cookie choices: as long as we need to show we asked for your consent.

10Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy
• correct information that is wrong
• delete your information
• send your information to you or another service in a common format
• stop or limit how we use it, or object to a use
• withdraw your consent, where we rely on it

Send your request through our support form. We may need to confirm it's you. We reply within one month, and asking is free. Some information, like invoices, we have to keep by law even if you ask us to delete it.

11US state privacy rights

If you live in California, Colorado, Virginia or another US state with a privacy law, you have the rights above, including the right to know what we collect and why, and the right not to be treated differently for using your rights.

We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we don't use sensitive personal information to infer things about you. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.

12Security

We use HTTPS across the site, hashed passwords, limited access to personal information, and regular updates. Our providers keep their own security programs.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

13Children

Our website and plugin are for businesses and adults. They aren't meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has sent us information, please tell us and we will delete it.

14The plugin on your site

WC Currency Switch doesn't track your store's visitors and doesn't send us usage data. It only contacts us to check your license and look for updates.

• It sets a cookie on your store that remembers each shopper's currency.
• To detect a shopper's country, it reads the country your CDN already sends. If you choose IP2Location or FreeIPAPI as a fallback, it sends the shopper's IP address to that service.
• Exchange rate providers are contacted from your server and don't receive information about your shoppers.

For your store and its shoppers, you are the controller. Please mention the currency cookie and any IP lookup service you use in your own privacy notice, and ask for consent where your laws require it.

15Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we post the new version here with a new date. If a change is important, we tell you by email or in your dashboard before it takes effect.
